2026 Retreat

Finding freedom in Christ to pursue sexual integrity.

Sexual sin in our lives is often that hidden area in the dark, that leaves us as men feeling defeated and alone, living a double life without real integrity.

 

This March 2026 we gather together as men and brothers in Christ to find encouragement in Gods word that speaks light and life and hope into the dark and hidden parts of our lives.

 

We see our Father’s love for us as His sons – who are fully forgiven and accepted in Christ. And we see the Father’s power for us and in us, by His Spirit, who invites us into a life of freedom and fullness of joy in Him.

 

Pastor JJ Bomford from Cowra Baptist will be sharing with us from Gods word and from his own story. This event is for all men who want to follow after Jesus in the pursuit of sexual integrity.

 

 

 

 

On Friday night, around the fire, our brother Andy Collins will be coming to share his story of faith – of how the Lord radically rescued him and made him His very own dearly loved son!

Andy Collins is pastor at Blackheath Baptist Church where he has served for 10 years and was previously pastoring for many years at Redfern.

 

 

 

Pastor Steve Gibbs is on the pastoral team at MBM Church in Sydney and will be joining us and sharing his own journey of God’s grace in this area of his life.

 

Steve is passionate about the sexual integrity of God’s people and has been involved in running groups where men can be real as they seek to live free and fulfilled lives and he is really looking forward to joining us.

 

 

 

 

Andrew Parkinson and the worship team will provide the rhythmic food to lead us into worship.

 

 

Accommodation @ Cowra baptist:

1. Accommodation will be inside the church social area, which is carpeted (own bedding required) .
   
2. Or you can camp outside the church in their spacious back yard.
3. Otherwise, there are a number of hotel and motel places around Cowra.
