Come to the Central West (Cowra NSW) and hear about being a Fair Dinkum man. The 5th Fair Dinkum Men’s Conference will be held at Wyangala Dam on March 25th/26th, 2022.  Further details will follow in the New Year,  at the conference we will start off on Friday night with a BBQ/Fire and hear the story of one of the men, his struggle and reliance on our Father.

Then on Saturday we are blessed to have Al Stewart, Al is very well know around the Christian communities. He has a passion to build churches and see men thrive through the grace of the work of Jesus. Al can be described as a real mate’s men.

Cost:

  • Early Bird (before 15th March 2022) – $60
  • Full weekend – $65
  • Saturday only – $45
  • Food will be provided for all attendee.

Accommodation:

There is an option for sleeping in the hall at a cost of $10 (own bedding required which includes a mattress given the hard floor) where the meeting will be held. If you want to take this option then tick the box when you register. Otherwise contact the park administration and book other forms of accommodation.

2022 Conference Speaker Profiles


Al Stewart

Al Stewart is the National Director of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). He has been in Christian ministry work for over 30 years, working as a pastor and itinerant speaker. Al was involved in commencing the City Bible Forum with ECOM in 2001 and was the chairman of the Katoomba Christian Convention from 2005-2014. He also served as a bishop and the director of Evangelism Ministries with the Sydney Diocese of the Anglican Church. He is currently leading the City Bible Forum in Sydney since 2015 and has a passion from equipping with men to be more like Jesus and equipping leaders to plant churches. 

Al has spoken to many men’s groups around the country and has a commitment to help men understand how to find life through following Jesus. Through his passion and faith, Al has successfully authored many books on Christianity and contemporary men issues. Some titles include:

  • The ‘Men- Firing through all of life” – Very popular and practical.
  • No Guts No Glory” – On youth ministry
  • And “Kicking Off” About getting started in the Christian life
  • Just Starting Out: Seven letters to a new Christian

His latest book, which will be out end of 2021 is about being a man in this contemporary world and how to navigate with true masculinity that comes from above through faith and carrying of the cross called “The MANual – How to man-up. The world needs you”

He’s been married to Kathy for 40 years, has 4 grown up kids, and a couple of grandchildren.

He tries to keep fit for an old bloke and hopes the Sydney City Roosters can get up again this year
